Fitted Mattress

All Finnish-inspired Baby Boxes from The Baby Box Co. come with a fitted mattress, waterproof cover, and 100% cotton sheet.

However, as any parent will tell you, even though your baby may be wearing a diaper, waterproofing galore is in place, and sheets are doing double-duty...sometimes a messy disaster still strikes! If this happens, we don't want you to have to replace your entire baby box container when all you really need is a new, clean mattress.

Thus, this is a product option which we hope goes unused, for your sake...but it's here just in case you ever need it!

All of our mattresses are firm foam pads which have been independently certified as non-toxic and safe by CertiPUR-US laboratories. Specifically, they adhere to the following:

- No PBDE flame retardants
- No prohibited phthalates
- No ozone depleters (CFCs)
- No mercury, lead or heavy metals
- No formaldehyde

Please note that this mattress order includes all of the following:

- One foam mattress pad, which measures approximately 16.25" x 26.5" x 1.25"
- One waterproof cover
- One 100% cotton fitted sheet
