IT’S NATIONAL SMILE POWER DAY!
It may seem ironic to some that National Smile Power Day falls on a Monday this year but, nevertheless, it is upon us and we’re determined to celebrate!
Today is National Smile Power Day!
Sometimes amid the hustle and bustle of our busy daily lives, we forget how much power and magic is in a smile. A smile can be as simple as a silent hello to people passing by en route to the office or supermarket. A true smile also offers acceptance, encouragement and appreciation as well as helping to calm anxiety, fear, and nervousness. A smile lets those whose lives you touch know that you care.
So smile today…and everyday! Spread the power. :)

MAKING A DIFFERENCE WITH BABY BOXES
In addition to taking care of our amazing e-commerce and retail customers, we love partnering with hospitals, institutions and non-profits to make Baby Boxes accessible to as many families as possible.
Several of you reached out last week after seeing the article about our pending Baby Box program in Alberta, Canada. Thank you for following news about our company and connecting with us about this story; your letters meant the world to our whole team!
The Welcome to Parenthood project is launching in Canada this August.
In addition to this exciting Canadian program, there are a number of other organizations actively launching Baby Box programs such as Temple University Hospital, UC San Diego Health System, and California Department of Public Health. The professionals heading up Baby Box initiatives at these and other institutions are doing tremendous work to develop parenting preparation programs utilizing the Baby Box as a key intervention and education tool; we’re so humbled by their dedication and are delighted to play a role in making their innovative outreach an impactful reality.

Our non-profit network also plays a huge role in our ability to meet the needs of new parents worldwide. On the domestic front, we certainly want to send some love to Babies Need Boxes, Stork & Company, Backline, Assistance League of Los Altos, and World Health Equity for their passion and commitment to families within their communities.
