The Baby Box Co. is taking a personal approach to outreach this holiday season and introducing some of the families we work with to all of our followers. We know how supportive you all are of one another and that makes us so happy! Nurturing an open and informative environment in which new moms can connect is a huge part of our company’s mission. We know you are going to love meeting the Nelms family today. This entry into our holiday giveaway program was particularly touching because it was a mother nominating a daughter—how sweet is that? Brenda Nelms is so proud of her daughter, Cheryl, who works tirelessly to provide for her children. Cheryl is expecting a baby shortly and we’re so delighted to provide her little one with a Baby Box starter kit for the holidays. Below is what Brenda had to say about Cheryl, complete with family photos. It is a beautiful note and we hope you all enjoy meeting the Nelms Family as much as we have!
Cheryl hasn't had any time to herself or had a vacation in nearly 8 years but she works her tail off to make sure her children have what they need. It's hard because I am not in a great position to help her and she has had such a hard time this year and was scared about what she could afford to make sure the little one she is expecting has what he or she needs. I found your Facebook page, and it felt like a God send.
My daughter works so very hard and her rewards have been her three children (soon to be four). She has sacrificed so much over the years and goes without a whole lot of the time to make sure they have the little things that they need, clothes, food, shelter, basics, and the occasional special treat.
I have watched from afar at how hard she works, and how much she goes through on a daily basis. She is such a good mother. She would appreciate any hand up and it would put a smile on her face. I want her to know that she is not alone, that she will get through this and the baby will be in loving hands.
