Dear Tosha,
On behalf of the entire Board and staff of Room to Grow, please accept our most sincere gratitude for The Baby Box Company's generous donation; the boxes are wonderful! Your support is an important part of our mission to enrich the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development.
Since 1998, Room to Grow has provided three key pillars of support to families in need: one-on-one parenting education and guidance; referrals to key community resources such as housing and nutrition assistance; and essential baby items to ensure a safe and enriching home environment. Parents visit our warm and welcoming program space every three months, from the last trimester of pregnancy until their baby turns three. Our skilled social workers meet one-on-one with parents to assist them in becoming confident caretakers and advocates for their children, and to manage the daily challenges of parenting amidst financial stresses. At each visit, our families also receive essential baby items of the highest quality including books, educational toys, clothing, and gear ensuring a stimulating home environment that fosters healthy development.
Our work would not be possible without the support of donors like you. Thank you again for your generosity and we look forward to working together to to give children a secure and healthy start in life.
Sincerely,
Elaine Chow
